I will update this page regularly as users report new bugs and problems while streaming videos.
Common Cinema Box Problems
It’s now time to discuss some common issues with this application. These problems started appearing recently and are usually due to failure to connect to the updated servers and older versions of the app.
Scroll below to find the problem you are facing. The solution for each issue is given below.
Problem: ‘There was an error encountered while loading this movie’
This is one of the most common errors. Many users have started reporting this error but fortunately, most of them have already found a fix for this error.
If you haven’t found a fix yet or the one you found isn’t working for some reason, try this latest fix below.
- Go to settings > Time on your mobile device.
- Change time to 01-01-2015 and save it.
- Now change ‘automatic time/date update’ setting on your device.
That’s it. Now go back and play a movie in HD without any errors.
Problem: ‘Can’t play link’
This is yet another common issue reported by the users. Just like other regular Cinema Box problems, I have a solution for this error as well.
IMPORTANT: This error is common for those who installed the app using VShare.
Here is the solution.
- Shutdown this app on your device.
- Now turn off mobile data (3G/4G/Edge).
- Turn off your Wi-Fi radio.
- Now run the app without a data connection.
- Now turn on 3G or Wi-Fi for data and play a video.
- Everything should work fine now.
Problem: ‘No Connection’
If you are seeing this error, then it’s time to diagnose the problem with your data connection. Restart your Wi-Fi modem and re-connect your phone with it.
This should work but if it doesn’t, then it means you need to call technical support department of your internet service provider.
You might face this error when you are using slow internet connection. Sometimes, upgrading to a faster data connection solves this problem for good.
Problem: ‘Cinema Box Not Working’
If you are seeing this error, then you are not the only one who is getting this message. This happens whenever the app updates its version and you don’t.
The only solution to get rid of this error is to install the latest version of this app. Our link is always updated with the latest working file – Download HERE.
Problem: Can’t turn off/on subtitles in Cinema Box
Finally, some users have reported this among other Cinema Box problems. They say they can’t turn on or off the subtitles in this app.
If you are also facing this problem, simply click/touch ‘CC’ on the control panel at bottom of the video. When you click it, it see a quick settings popup where you can turn CC on/off and choose language for subtitles.
If you can’t find subtitles settings in this app, check the screen below for help. I’ve highlighted the area/button where you need to touch to access these controls.
